IS THIS A NEW LEVY?
NO, the library's current 5-year 1 mill operating levy will expire at the
end of 2008.  The library is asking for a replacement of the operating
levy for the same length of time.
HOW WILL THE FUNDS BE USED?
These funds will be used to maintain current level of services and
materials (books, audio visual materials, programs, public computers,
utilities, personnel, etc.).  These funds will not be used for any new
construction.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
For the owner of a home appraised at $100,000, it will cost
approximately $30.64 per year or $2.55 a month.   To view your own

Website.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THE LEVY DOES NOT PASS?
The library will lose approximately 49% of its operating budget at the
end of 2009.
